Real Valladolid defender Mohammed Salisu was given a day off from training on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old was substituted after 64 minutes in last Saturday's 2-0 win at Espanyol and there were fears he had suffered an injury.

Valladolid head coach Sergio Gonzalez Soriano thought the centre back needed his scheduled rest on Wednesday.

Salisu has played in all seven La Liga matches for Blanquivioletas.
