Normalisation Committee appoints Ex-Kotoko chief Dr K.K Sarpong as Black Stars Management Committee chairman

Former Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman Dr KK Sarpong has been appointed chairman of the Black Stars management committee ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt this June. 

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) boss has been installed by the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee.

He will be assisted by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Perry Okudzeto.

Other members of the committee are former African Footballer of the Year Ibrahim Sunday, Francis Asenso-Boakye and Madam Abena Osei Asare, a Member of Parliament for Atiwa East.

The committee has been tasked to supervise the activities of the Black Stars, and collaborate with the technical team to facilitate all arrangements to ensure the team gets the best of preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
