Former Chairman of Division One League Board of the Ghana Football Association, Lawyer Ntow Fianko has ruled himself out of working for the yet-to-be named Normalization committee.

On Monday, FIFA issued a warning to the Government of Ghana (GoG) to withdraw their liquidation case against the nation’s football governing body or face its wrath.

One of the major steps is that the Government will take steps to discontinue their bid to dissolve the nation’s football governing body.

The Government wrote to FIFA asking for further discussion on the issue for which they have now come to a consensus after the meeting.

FIFA says it will in consultation with the Government of Ghana (GoG) and CAF constitute a ‘Normalization committee’ to run the Ghana Football Association.

The committee will replace the Executive Committee and organise elections for a new executive committee.

FIFA took the the decision after a powerful delegation led by Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, Deputy Chief of Staff Samuel Jinapor, the Minister of Information designate Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

"I am happy that the GFA won't be dissolved and football will continue in the country. That's all we were hoping for. This is exactly what the GHALCA vote of no confidence seeks to achieve anyway," told Happy FM.

"I don't want to be part of the Normalization committee even if they appoint me; I won't join because I have lot of things to do. I can send my suggestions and ideas for the reforms as a football person if they ask me too but to join, no way."
