Oman coach to train Ghanaian beach soccer coaches

Ghanaian beach soccer coaches will be trained by Oman's national team beach soccer coach and FIFA instructor Talib Hilal next week.

25 coaches are expected to participate in the one-week training programme in Accra.

"As a qualified instructor and as per the instruction from Fifa, I will be going to Ghana to train the coaches there. It will be a great experience," Talib told Times Sport.

"It has always been an honour for me to be part of Fifa, the world's governing body.

"To train some of the coaches there and to promote the game, it will also give me some more experience in my line of duty.

"I am looking forward to the event and I am sure it is going to be an exciting experience after all," he said.

The Ghana Beach Soccer Association has been running a league with Keta-based Sunset Sports crowned 2011/2012 champions.

The CAL Bank Beach Soccer Premier League weekly in front of large crowds at La Pleasure Beach Arena, Accra and Sunset Sports.
