Palermo‘s Franco Vazquez has admitted that he would love to reunite with Juventus starlet Paulo Dybala at some point in the future.

During their time together in Sicily, the two showed an incredible understanding of one another’s style of play, before Dybala made a big-money switch to Turin.

“For now, my goal is to save Palermo, then I will see what happens,” Vazquez said to La Gazzetta  dello Sport. “I don’t know yet what will happen in June.”

“I haven’t decided whether to join AC Milan, Juve, Inter, or the other teams fighting for trophies.

“I have an excellent relationship with the president because he has always believed in me.”

When discussing his former team-mate, Vazquez was full of praise and keen to play with Dybala again.

“I love Paulo,” he said.

“He is still young and has incredible talent. I am not surprised by how well it is going for him at Juve. I am very happy for him.

“We did great things together at Palermo, which started in Serie B. I would love to play alongside him again one day.”

Before concluding, the Argentina-born Italian international said he was keen to represent the Azzurri again, although acknowledging that it would not be easy.

“There are many players who are playing well right now and I respect the choices of [Antonio] Conte, but I would love to wear the Azzurri shirt again.”
