Egyptian side Petrojet have parted ways with Ghanaian striker Eric Bekoe, according to reports in Egypt.

The Suez-based side are ending their three-year relationship with the former Asante Kotoko forward following an agreement between both parties.

Bekoe, 24, has been sidelined for close to two seasons with knee problems but returned to action before the Egyptian league was cancelled.

Petrojet have signed a two-year deal with Asante Kotoko's Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure to replace him.

Bekoe scored 19 times in 32 games for the club.
