President Kurt Okraku heads Ghana FA's newly created International Relations Committee

The Ghana Football Association has created an International Relations Committee which his headed by president Kurt E.S. Okraku. 

Ex-internationals Stephen Appiah, Samuel Osei Kuffour and Alberta Sackey are members on the six-man committee.

AshantiGold CEO and Ghana FA Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong will act as Vice Chairman with  Emmanuel Adansi and Marwan A. F Osei Tutu also as members.

International Relations  Committee is responsible for ensuring that the Ghana A obtains a database of all persons of Ghanaian decent excelling in all aspects of football (players, coaches, match officials, administrators, medical officers etc) outside Ghana.

They will also make the right contacts and engagements with the persons to enable Ghana benefit from their skills and talents.

Other duties of the committee includes:

a) Seeking the welfare of the GFA in international fora.

b) Scouting for suitable and qualified Ghanaians and to advise the FA on how to prepare them for service on international football organisation (CAF, WAFU,FIFA etc)

c) And to advise the GFA on its commitment to international bodies to which the GFA is affiliated.
