Ghanaian youngster Derrick Appiah has arrived at Napoli for pre-season with the youth team.Â
The 17-year-old former Amidaus FC midfielder reported to camp at the weekend and has been training with the side at Cogolo Pejo.
Appiah is highly rated by Napoli officials and can be lined up for the first team if he turns 18-when he will be permitted to sign a professional contract.
Appiah passed a medical in July after a successful trial on the initiate of Ghanaian FIFA agent Oliver Arthur.
He is strong, skillful and offensive minded.
