There reports in Serbia that Red Star Belgrade have rejected an offer less than their valuation of €6m for Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom.

The striker's value has tripled in 2017 after his blistering form in both domestic and European competition.

Our sources in Serbia say they understand the offer ''is not significantly far from €6m and was either tabled by Bundesliga sides Hannover 96 or Hoffenheim or Russian giants Locomotive Moscow.''

The three clubs are the only clubs to have officially enquired about the availability of the 24-year old, after his 25 goals in 28 games for the former Champions League holders, including 7 in the Europa League this season.

His agent, Oliver Arthur, had confirmed earlier that a number of clubs are asking on his availability for this transfer window.

Boakye only joined Red Star permanent on July 1, 2017 as a free status player.
