Asante Kotoko midfielder Alexis Didi Arnold has lost his mother Madam Dable Léonine Angeline, the club has stated.
The news of Madam Dable Léonine Angeline passing broke on Monday, and according to reports the player heard the sad news after their arrival from Nigeria.
Didi Arnold joined the Porcupine Warriors in the transfer window after ending his stay with AS Togo Port.
According to reports the player will be handed a compassionate leave to go back home and mourn his mum.
"Everyone at Asante Kotoko SC has been saddened to hear the sudden passing of Didi Alexis Arnold's mother, Dable Léonine Angeline. Our thoughts and prayers are with Alexis and his family at this trying time," the club posted on Twitter.
