Sassuolo gaffer De Zerbi is hoping Kevin-Prince Boateng will stay at the club for next season.
Boateng joined Barcelona on loan in the January transfer window where he had limited playing time with the Catalan club. He made only four appearances in all competitions.
The 32-year old returned to Sassuolo after his underwhelming loan deal spell at Barcelona at the end of the season.
Sassuolo coach De Zerbi has been speaking ahead of the team's transfer window where he hopes Kevin-Prince Boateng will stay with the club for the next season as he hopes to complement his squad with a lot of quality signings.
"Prince is highly respected by us and he knows that here he has the margin to do great things, his magic (smiles, ed). I hope he stays with us. The same applies to all those who have a market ”.
