Schalke O4 set to trigger buy back clause of Paderborn forward Bernard Tekpetey

German Bundesliga side Schalke O4 could trigger the buy back clause of Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey in the summer transfer window.

The striker has been in top form for Paderborn this season, scoring 9 goals in all competition for the club including 8 in the bundesliga II.

Schalke installed a buy back clause in the 21-year old forward's contract before he joined Paderborn last summer.

Paderborn are said to be willing to listen to offers for the striker in June, but the Royal Blues have first refusal on their former striker.

Tekpetey was on target in Paderborn's 3-1 win over Duisburg in the DFB Pokal as his side progress in the competition.

The Ghana international starred over the weekend as Paderborn defeated VFL Bochum in the Buundesliga II on Saturday.
