Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant has indicated his readiness to lead his team to success in the Tier I special competition with an eye on CAF Champions League qualification.

The Phobians will host the Porcupine Warriors in the semifinals of the GFA Special Competition on Sunday after suffering elimination in the Tier II competition.

“The focus is not about me, but the team as we are keen to return to Africa," he told Graphic Sports.

"We are already out of the Second Tier which has cost us the chance to fight for a ticket to the Confederation Cup so our focus is what we will do collectively to keep our dream alive in the campaign to return to Africa," he added.

The Rainbow club will be boosted by the return of stalwart defender Mohammed Alhassan, who was dropped from the final squad for AFCON 2019.

Hearts finished top of Zone B after an amazing run in the competition that saw them lose only three games to Elmina Sharks, WAFA and Dreams FC.
