The new leadership of the Ghana Football Association will decide on the start date for the 2019/20 league season after congress rejected the Normalisation Committee's decision to begin next month.
The caretaker body of the Ghana FA last month proposed November for the start.
But Congress has called for the issue to be shelved so that the new leadership of the FA sets a new date.
The new season will start with 18 teams after litigating teams Accra Great Olympics and King Faisal were readmitted to the top-flight.
