Ex Ghana captain Stephen Appiah is on the verge of joining Ukrainian club FC Volyn Lutsk, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
The 32-year-old has been without a club since parting ways with Italian outfit Cesena at the end of the last Serie-A campaign.
Appiah is in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk to negotiate a reported three-year deal with the Crusaders who are now placed 12th on the Premier League standings.
The midfielder retired from international football haven won 69 caps for Ghana during which time the Black Stars qualified for two successive World Cup finals.
