Ghana striker Abdul Majeed has fixed his sight firmly on winning the Swedish Allsvenskan goal king crown after opening his scoring account with a brace over the weekend.

The 20-year-old's double helped BK Hacken demolish Malmo FF 5-0 Allsvenskan on Saturday.

The former Right to Dream Academy graduate robbed Malmo defender Pontus Jansson off the ball and raced clear off before rounding up the goalkeeper to slot in an empty net.

He then turned his marker inside out before firing a diagonal effort to an acute angle for his second on the afternoon.

Waris told GHANAsoccernet.com: "The player who won the crown last season scored 21 goals but I want to score more and I believe if I score more than 20 goals I can win it."

"Winning the goal king award is top of my agenda this year."

Waris has one Ghana cap coming off the bench in February's 1-1 draw with Chile in an international friendly.
