Talented Esbjerg winger Emmanuel Oti eyes shock win over Brøndby in Danish League

Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Oti Essigba is hoping Esbjerg can find find their rhythm to cause upset by overcoming Brøndby in the Danish Super League on Sunday.

Esbjerb have endured a difficult start to the campaign, having recorded just a single win in five games.

John Lammers' side will go into their matchday 6 clash against Brøndby as underdogs following their opponent's superb form in the league. Brøndby have picked three wins, one loss and a draw - which has propelled them to 4th on the standings.

But Emmanuel Oti believes they can return from the Brøndby Stadion with a positive result should they find their rhythm.

"It will be a difficult match because Brøndby have started the season very well but football is full of surprises hence we cannot feel defeated before we kick a ball.

"We didn’t begin well but we feel very confident now especially after our last game against Sonderjyske. Everyone is charged for the game so we'll go there with a positive mentality."

The 21-year-old played an instrumental role in their win over Sonderjyske last week and will be expected to keep his place in the starting line-up.

Esbjerg occupy 11th spot on the league standings with 5 points after five games.
