Tarkwa United produced the result of the day with a 4-1 mauling of Dunkwa United at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Goals from Emmanuel Afram, Wisdom Kelly, Baah Boateng and Mohammed Mutala ensured that the opening day defeat to Wassaman was just a blip.

The win could be very vital in the Tarkwa-based club's effort to qualify for next season's Premier League as they await the verdict of their protest lodged against leaders Wassaman.

They are now level on points with Kumasi-based Depotivo, the side they meet in the final round of matches.
