Tema Youth coach Tony Lokko insists his side will challenge for honours this term following his side's 1-1 draw game against giants Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

In-form striker Ahmed Toure scored with a header before the Tema-based side equalized with a penalty in the first half.

Both sides struggled to gain control in the second half as they failed to get on the score sheet.

Youth played a determined game in front of their home fans and boss Lokko is sure his side will make a huge impact in the country’s top-flight league.

"We played well and I’m happy we managed to get a point from this game. It was a big game for most of the players and I'm delighted with the confidence," Lokko said.

"There is more to look forward to because we're very positive we can cause many upset this season.

"Playing against Kotoko is huge and even though we could only settle for a draw, it’s a affair reflection of what happened here today."
