Ghana reached the final of the WAFU U17 tournament after beating Ivory Coast 2-1 in Niamey on Wednesday.

The Black Starlets had to rally from behind to behind to score two goals in quick succession late in the first half.

The equalizer was a blistering header through Umar Mohammed before the winner came shortly afterwards by Taufiq Shaibu.

Ten minutes to time, Eugene Adjei Frimpong was sent off for a second yellow card.
