Togolese super star Emmanuel Adebayor is set to launch his foundation in a three-day festival in Ghana.

The 28-year-old Manchester City striker who spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspurs is noted for his benevolence and massive charity work across the African continent.

This time around last year, Adebayor brought massive joy to the people in the twin city of Hamile and Koro in the Upper West Region of Ghana by commissioning water projects.

He is now set to officially unveil his charity which will provide various reliefs in deprived communities in several African countries.

The three-day festival will commence on Friday June 29 with a strictly invitational dinner dance at his residence in Ghana where diplomats, decision and opinion leaders, footballers, people in showbiz and the media from around the globe will be in attendance.

A mini documentary of the previous charity work by the ex Arsenal star will be screened at this opening event.

Day Two will see Adebayor line up with his colleagues against the African media in a beach soccer game before everyone convenes in the evening once again at the footballer’s residence for a musical concert dubbed Togo versus Ghana.

It is at this concert that the famous Ghanaian ‘Azonto’ dance will be pitched against that of Togo called ‘Koolcatche’.

The festival will be climaxed on Reublic Day with a fitness event dubbed ‘Stay Fit with Ade’ at his residence featuring various games amid a pool party, badminton, sack race and the like.

The charity event will be intertwined with the official opening of Adebayor’s residence in Ghana and to thank Ghanaians for the privilege and welcome accorded him.
