Tottenham have completed the signing of Steven Bergwijn from PSV Eindhoven for a fee of â‚¬31 million plus another €4m in add-ons.

Bergwijn, 22, signs on a contract until 2025.

The forward becomes the third signing for the club this month after they sealed deals for Gedson Fernandes and Giovani Lo Celso.

There were reports the forward refused to play in PSV's match with Twente on Sunday amid a move to the Premier League but he took to social media to deny the claims.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho entered the market in search of attacking options after captain Harry Kane was ruled out until April with a hamstring injury.

While reports linked the club with Real Sociedad's Willian Jose, Spurs have opted to sign the Netherlands international.

Bergwijn has has been at PSV since 2011, when he joined their youth set-up from Ajax. He has five goals in 16 league appearances this season.
