The Trust Hospital has written to the Ghana FA of its intention to offer comprehensive medical screening to all Premiership clubs.

This according to management of the hospital is to ensure the medical safety of all players ahead of the grueling Premier League campaign.

"As the games get more competitive, the demands on the Musculoskeletal and Cardiopulmonary systems becomes enormous," Hospital Administrator, K.O Aduamoah said.

"This sometimes results in occasional disastrous events as witnessed in the sporting world."

The Ghana FA last season resolved to have all players undergo comprehensive medical examination before the commencement of the league.

And it is this resolution that the renowned Ghanaian hospital aims to exploit.

"We intend to offer a complete physical examination, reliable and comprehensive laboratory and cardiopulmonary investigations.

"Should you agree to participate in this exercise, it would offer enormous benefits to your clubs," Aduamoah added.

The hospital has since requested the GFA to advise on the way forward to ensure a sucessful medical screening as they seek to communicate to the clubs themselves.

Last season, clubs through the help of their certified team doctors, organized thorough medical checks for their players before they were cleared to feature in the league.
