US Sassuolo midfielder Stefano Sensi has hailed the leadership qualities of Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Boateng, 31, joined the Neroverdi on a two-year deal a fortnight ago after helping Eintracht Frankfurt clinch the German DFB Pokal, beating Bayern Munich 3-1 in the final.

Several pundits in Italy squad have eulogized the Ghanaian's signing - which they believe will help make the side competitive in the coming campaign.

According to Sensi, who himself returned to the side ahead of the season after spending the past two seasons on loan at second-tier side AC Cesena, is the latest to have lavished praises on the Ghana international's capture.

"He made a wonderful impression; he is a good person and a hard worker. We see that he is a leader, he gives positive advice and always tries to help you when you make mistakes without making the mistake weigh."
