Fans of Bayern Munich have taken to Social Media to praise Jerome Boateng after scoring a replica of Barcelona ace Lionel Messi's "spoon" against Betis in training.
One fan wrote on Social Media,"Everything Messi can do, Boateng can do better," after the video was shared by the Bavarians on their Instagram handle.
There have been several applause for Messi, who scored a hat-trick against Real Betis last week with the "spoon" goal a beauty to mark the day.
However, English club Chelsea pulled up an old video of legend Frank Lampard scoring a similar goal,,
And now, it was the turn of Boateng to enjoy the praises.
