Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom increased his goal scoring tally to three goals in three matches as Red Star Belgrade progressed to the next round of the Champions League qualification.

Red Star Belgrade eliminated Danish giants Copenhagen through the penalty shoot-outs which ended 6-5.

The first leg ended 1-1 in Belgrade a week ago with both sides hoping to clinch qualification ahead of the game.

Boakye-Yiadom scored in the 17th minute of the first half to put his side in front.

The in-form striker has now scored against all the teams he has played against in the Champions League qualification — First against Suduva before HJK and Copenhagen.

Copenhagen equalized through N’Doye with just some few minutes to end the first half.

Both teams had their players sent off with the game going through extra time and then to the penalty shoot-outs after both sides failed to convert their chances.

It was a penalty marathon as Red Star Belgrade won 6-5 against the home side.
