VIDEO: Callum Hudson-Odoi playing school football emerges after England call-up

Published on: 22 March 2019

A video of young Calum Hudson-Odoi has emerged following the Chelsea winger's debut England call up.

The 18-year old has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years.

Hudson-Odoi first came to the public eye when he was a part of England U17s run to the final of the 2017 European Championship.

The English born Ghanaian was part of England U17s triumphant World Cup winning campaign just a few months later.

Hudson-Odoi would then feature in his first game for Chelsea in January 2018 as he came off the bench in a 3-0 FA Cup victory over Newcastle.

The son of former Hearts of Oak player Bismarck Odoi has so far scored five goals in 23 games for Chelsea.

Despite not having made an appearance for England U21s, his performances have been enough for Gareth Southgate to call him up for England's upcoming games against Czech Republic and Montenegro.

At just 18, he could make his debut for the national team in just a few days.

Footage has emerged of Hudson-Odoi playing for his school at the age of just 14.
