Disappointed fans of Hearts of Oak are calling for the sack of coach Kim Grant following their Ghana Premier League opening day 1-0 loss against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
The Phobians were humbled at their Accra Sports Stadium home ground courtesy Jonah Attuquaye’s 35th minute deflected strike for Chelsea.
In the aftermath of the match, angry fans of the Rainbow club vented their frustrations on their coach and called on management to axe him from the dugout before their next league game.
Grant’s future with the Accra-based giants have been shrouded in a lot of controversy after he was reported to have been shown the exit just four days to the commencement of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
The former West Brom Albion forward was given five-match ultimatum to change the fortunes of the side but the defeat against the Blues on home soil could be the final nail on the coffin.
