Hugely-talented Ghanaian youngster Faisal Adam Billy has started trials with French giants Paris Saint-Germain, Ghanasoccernet.com can report.

The 18-year-old, who plays for an Accra-based division two side Sportslife FC, has started training with the youth side of the big-spending club sponsored by Qatari billionaires.

Spanish club Sevilla and Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven were all gunning for the services of the intelligent central midfielder before PSG swooped to observe the player.

English champions Manchester City, Wolfsburg, and Standard Liege were also among the several club interested in the tall and lanky player known for his accurate passes.

Billy, who is nicknamed 'Indomie' for his love for the noodles popular with kids, started training with PSG last week and has two more weeks to impress the coaches.

"The player is very calm on his future and he will sign with a club by end of transfer window," Sportslife FC President, Mr Raymond Owusu Takyi, said.

European scouts discovered the talented player during the "Stage du Africa scouting camp" where teams displayed their most talented players.

Billy was part of the Black Starlets team which reached the second round of the 2017 Under 17 World Cup in India.
