Wa All Stars vrs WAFA SC- Preview: Dethroned leaders entertain Academy Boys
Wa All Stars

Wa All Stars will face fellow MTN FA Cup quarter-finalists West Africa Football Academy in Wa in what is expected to be a thrilling contest.

The hosts easily romped past second tier side Wamanafo Mighty Royals with a 6-0 scoreline to progress to the last eight.

They target to go top of the league log with a win against the Academy outfit this Wednesday.

Abdul Ganiu Ismail, Richard Arthur and goalkeeper Richard Ofori have returned to Wa to be available for selection.

Joseph Adjei is nursing an injury. He has been ruled out of Wednesday's game.

WAFA also made their way through to the MTN FA Cup quarters when they edged third tier Emmanuel FC narrowly at the Sogakope park last Friday.

Samuel Tetteh returns to the squad ahead of the trip to Wa after an international assignment with the local national team.

Majeed Ashimeru underwent a successful knee surgery in Belgium which rules him out of action for close to seven weeks.

Newly recruited Togolese striker Komlan Agbegniandan could make his first league appearance against Wa All Stars.
