WAFA SC have announced their U16 coach Sadiq Abubakar will be on the bench for their Ghana Premier League match against Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast on Sunday.
Abubakar will be acting in a stop-gap role after Danish trainer Klavs Rasmussen resigned after last Wednesday's 1-1 draw with AshantiGold at home.
A statement on the club's Twitter account: ''U16 head coach Saddiq Abubakar will step in a stop-gap when the First Team face @Ebusua_Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium in the @ghana_league on Sunday.
''Assistant coach Moro Ibrahim will also be on the bench.''
Abubakar is not new to this role as he acted as caretaker when John Killa left for a coaching job in India three seasons ago.
