General Manager of Wassaman United Kurt Okraku has reiterated his side's intent to upset giants Asante Kotoko when they meet in a league clash on Sunday.

The Premier League newbies have endured a trough opening league start but have started picking up points in their bid to beat the drop.

Most predictions ahead of the weekend's tie against the current league leaders have gone for the hosts but the visitors say they are least perturbed by pre-match predictions but are only concentrated on dishing out the first major this campaign in Kumasi.

"We are not overawed by the occasion, rather we believe we are well placed to produce a major upset against Kotoko," Okraku told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"The team has been playing well only that we have been unlucky with results but gradually they will come as we continue to work hard and I believe this Sunday's clash will show how far the team has come.

"We will beat Kotoko and make sure we give their officials and supporters sleepless nights, that I am sure of."

Wassaman currently lie second from the bottom with just four points and are bent on improving their status with a win on Sunday.
