Napoli midfielder Diego Demme says they are “happy for the victory” against Cagliari, and insists they aren’t thinking of Barcelona, “we have Brescia first.”
The Partenopei managed a 1-0 win against the Sardinians to leapfrog Rolando Maran’s side in the table.
“We are happy for the victory, we have 33 points, let’s get to 40 points and then we can see what we can do,” Demme told Sky Sport Italia.
Napoli face Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League, but Demme isn’t focused on the Catalans just yet.
“First there is the challenge against Brescia.
“Let’s carry on like this. Are we more of a team now? Yes, I believe so.”
