In-form Ghanaian youngster Maxwell Boadu Acosty has been promoted to the Fiorentina first team.

Acosty's rich vein of scoring form has been noticed by new coach Delio Rossi.

The budding striker has enchanted the technical team with his great speed and good technique.

The 20-year-old has scored 13 goals in 10 matches in the Italian Primavera League where he is topscorer.

"This is a great honour for me and at this time because I'm in good shape. Playing in the 'Prima Squadra" (first team) will be a great feeling," Acosty told GHANAsoccernet.com

Last year, Acosty scored the winning goal which clinched the Primavera Coppa Italia Cup for Fiorentina.

His blistering and explosive pace has earned him the nickname G6.

Acosty becomes the second Ghanaian youngster to be promoted to the La Viola first team this season after Salifu Amidu.
