Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo says the Zylofon Cash Sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League is good news for the top flight league.
The Ghana Premier League has been without a headline sponsor in the last three seasons.
However, on Thursday, the Zylofon Media Group and the Ghana Football Association signed a $10 million sponsorship deal for five years as headline sponsors of the doestic league.
Yaw Opare Addo, who speaks for Accra Hearts of Oak insists it is good news for the clubs.
"I think it's good for the Ghana Premier League because if you already have some means of generating revenues to run the club and this sponsorship add to that. I think it's good news for the Premier League and we are all happy for it," he told Zylofon FM.
The Ghana Premier League will now be known as the Zylofon Cash Premier League for the next five years.
The domestic league has however been on a two week break as clubs with outstanding games clear those matches.
Accra Hearts of Oak are having a difficult season but will return to action next Wednesday where they face WAFA. The match day 13 ga,es will all be played next week.
