2019/20 Ghana Premier League: Week 8 Match Report - Liberty Professionals 1-2 Dreams FC

Dreams FC have returned to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League after beating Liberty Professionals 2-1 on Wednesday. 

Dreams took advantage of the match being played at their home ground, Theatre of Dreams in Dawu to claim the maximum points at Scientific Soccer Lads' expense.

Liberty, the home side, decided that the match be played in Dawu following the closure of their Carl Reindorf Park. 

Ibrahim Issah put Dreams ahead in the 30th minute when he scored from a rebound after Kwame Otu’s superb effort was blocked.

The lead was doubled in the 85th minute. Abdul Bashiru delivered an inch-perfect pass into the box for Dantani “Mario” Amadu who rounded the goalkeeper before slotting into an empty net.

Liberty scored a consolation in the 90th minute through Elvis Kyei-Baffour from penalty spot.
