Former Asante Kotoko management member Ali Maradona has described as irresponsible attacks on Ghana FA president Kurt Okraku by an executive of the Greater Accra Circles Council.

Nii Darko, who is communication director for the body, went ballistic and accused the FA boss and some

He said in an interview: ''Some of us will be vindicated because I know Kurt Okraku as GFA president, he has something bad against us [Kotoko]- We said it right from the beginning and we are seeing it.''

''The people at the FA, we know where they are coming from, we know their plan. Look, they came here to destroy Kotoko before we go to Tarkwa.''

But Maradona says his colleague has goofed by launching a personal attack on the GFA president.

''First of all, it's not true Kurt hates Kotoko. He gave us Baba Rahman and we all know what that player did for Kotoko. I am saying on authority that Kurt worked hand-in-hand with former chairman Dr KK Sarpong to help the club get a quality player,'' he said.

''Also, during Kwesi Nyantakyi's administration, we were banned so can one then conclude that Nyantakyi hated Kotoko.

''Such comments are shameful and unprofessional.''
