Ghana winger Andre Ayew suffered a groin injury in Wednesday's Uefa Champions League home defeat to Arsenal at the Stade Velodrome.
The 21-year-old was hurt in the final 20 minutes of the 1-0 home defeat to English side Arsenal.
Marseille medical staff will further diagnose the injury on Friday to confirm his availability for Saturday's visit of Ajaccio.
A club statement said Ayew together with Lucho and Nicolas N'Koulou will be assessed before Saturday's game.
"For these three players, a new evaluation will be made ??on Friday to learn more about their availability for Saturday's game against Ajaccio."
