Ghana coach Kuuku Dadzie admits qualification to the African Women Championships has been made much more difficult following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Cameroon.
The Black Queens needed a late strike from Florence Okoe to level the game after the Cameroonians had snatched the lead in the 73rd minute.
And Dadzie who earned promotion to the senior side after his impressive work with the U-20’s says qualification is made even tougher though still upbeat of his team’s chances.
"Certainly they (Cameroon) have the advantage over us after getting a draw and a vital away goal against us," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
"On paper before the game, they were the better side due to the fact that they are ahead of us in the rankings and did better in the last championship than we did.
"Traveling away to play them will not be easy at all but football is a game full of uncertainties and we hope to go there and get the result."
The Black Queens have struggled in recent years leading to their further decline to their renowned No.2 position on the continent behind Nigeria.
