Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan says the target of the team is to win all their remaining matches in the CAF Confederation Cup which will ensure their qualification to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Kotoko have two matches to play in the competition with a game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday 10 March against Al Hilal and an away game to ZESCO United in their final Group C match.

The Porcupine Warriors exhibited an impressive performance on Sunday against Nkana FC on match day four to go second on the table. They beat the Zambia side by 3-0 with goals from Abdul Fatau Shafiu, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Martin Antwi.

Speaking ahead of the game against Al Hilal on Sunday, Felix Annan said, “We want to win the rest of our matches even though playing against ZESCO United in Zambia will be difficult”, he told Asempa FM.

“We are going into Sunday’s game against Al Hilal FC with the same mentality because we are bent on winning this weekend, he added.

The deputy captain also recorded his first clean sheet in the competition.

Asante Kotoko will be searching for their third win in the competition against Al Hilal. They lost to the Sudan side in the first leg in Omdurman. A win will cushion their chances of qualifying out of the group.

Kotoko are second on the table after this win
