Chelsea ready to treble Hudson-Odoi's wages amid Bayern interest

English giants Chelsea are reportedly ready to treble Callum Hudson-Odoi’s wages in a last-ditch attempt to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have made four bids for the teenager this month – their latest in the region of £35 million despite him never starting a Premier League game.

According to Mail Sport, Chelsea have offered Hudson-Odoi a new five-year deal worth £80,000-a-week, treble what he is currently earning.

Meanwhile, it is understood the 18 year old is  ‘keen’ on a Bundesliga switch with regular first-team opportunities in mind.

Examples set by England youth team-mates Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson are beginning to influence young English talent struggling for minutes in the Premier League.

Maurizio Sarri told reporters on Friday that he “doesn’t know” if the club will be able to persuade Hudson-Odoi to stay.

The winger has been limited to two Premier League appearances this season, both as a sub.
