Edwin Gyasi scores as CSKA Sofia return to winning ways against Botev Vratsa

Ghana winger Edwin Gyasi netted for CSKA Sofia in their 2-1 win over Botev Vratsa in the Bulgarian top-flight league on Tuesday.

The Army-men went into the game with the aim of bouncing back from their shock 2-0 defeat against Cherno More in the first league game of 2019.

Following a cagey first half, the hosts shot into the lead on the 48th minute, thanks to Edwin Gyasi's perfectly struck low shot.

Gambian forward Ali Sowe put the game beyond the visitors reach with his bullet strike on the 56th minute before Emil Stoev grabbed a consolation for Botev Vratsa with on the 89th minute.

Gyasi enjoyed full throttle as they consolidated their second position with 48 points from 22 matches.

He has scored 4 goals in the league for CSKA Sofia.
