Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder Alhassan Wakaso has set a new record of most successful tackles this season in the Portuguese Liga.
Ghana international completed 11 successful tackles in the 0-0 home draw with giants FC Porto last week.
However, Wakaso committed seven fouls en route to achieving this modest record.
He has beaten Edson Farias's previous record of ten set on match day 4 against Sporting Club.
Tied in third place at nine are Gustavo Cascardo (Vitória FC, home with Chaves), Gedson Fernandes (Benfica, visiting Nacional) and Zakarya Bergdich (Belenenses, Sporting's home).
