Ghana FA presidential front-runner Wilfred Osei Kwaku donates to Kotoko and Ashantigold ahead of J.A Kufuor Cup

Popular Ghana FA presidential hopeful Wilfred Osei Kwaku has donated to Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold ahead of the meeting of the two regional rivals in the J.A Kufuor Cup on Sunday.

Osei Kwaku, who remains the front-runner to succeed Kwesi Nyantakyi donated assorted items to the two clubs ahead of the hugely publicized game at the Baba Yara stadium in the Garden City.

Eleven Wonders chief Takyi Arhin donated the items which included boxes of water and drinks on behalf of the former Ghana FA Executive Committee member.

Kotoko officials Edmund Ackah and Nana Dankwah and some players including goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe and Fatawu Safiu were in attendance to receive the donation.

Arhin, who is famed for his candid views, is one of the key campaigners for the  Tema Youth boss, who is seeking the top job.

Though the hugely respected football administrator is yet to declare his intentions of contesting the elections, the signs are clear on the wall.

Osei Kwaku has contributed significantly to the regional FA's as he continues to woo the grassroots over with his immense personality.

Osei Kwaku, who is the owner of Ghanaian side Tema Youth, is hugely popular among the football aficionados and tipped by many to win by landslide if he decides to contest.

He enjoys massive grassroots support after standing for football during the turbulence period.

Kotoko and Ashantigold go head-to-head in Sunday's epic clash in Kumasi to honour former Ghana President John Agyekum Kufuor.

The amount realized from the game will be channeled into the Kufuor Foundation.
