Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah has expressed gratitude to Torino fans and management for their support during his time at the club.

The 26-year-old has been with the Grenades since 2015 and his contract was due to expire next summer.

He completed a deadline day move to Serie A returnees Empoli on a permanent basis after passing a medical on Friday.

Acquah took to his Twitter handle to thank his immediate past club fans for their support during the three years he spent there.

I’ll forever cherish my years at @TorinoFC_1906 and the love of the fans and the support of the management. Thank you, @TorinoFC_1906. #TransferNews pic.twitter.com/Hy9S5AlYAy
