Ghanaian midfielder Derrick Mensah leaves Dunav Ruse by mutual consent

Ghanaian midfielder Derrick Mensah has left Bulgarian side Dunav Ruse by mutual consent after four months at the club. 

The former Ghana U-20 star joined Ruse in August but mutually agreed to part ways with the club after making only three appearances in the first round of the league.

"Management thank Derrick Mensah for his professionalism and honest behaviour during his stay at the club and wished him many successes ahead," a statement from Dunav Ruse read.

The youngster started his professional career with Ghanaian side Tema Youth before moving to Tunisian outfit Club Africain in 2013.

He also played for Czech side Banik Ostrava as well as Norwegian outfit  Haugesund.

He was a member of Ghana's Under-20 squad that played in the 2013 African Youth Championship.
