Former Vice-President of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie says he will do everything possible to ensure Asante Kotoko qualify to the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup by beating Zesco United.

Asante Kotoko are in dire need of a win in their upcoming game against Zesco United on Sunday March 17, 2019 which will guarantee them a spot in the quarter-finals.

The Okyeman Planners bank roller seems to be helping out Kotoko in their campaign in Africa and has vowed to ensure Kotoko beat Zesco United to secure their qualification.

“Some of us have been working on the low, I have been doing my best to help Kotoko excel in Africa,” he told Atinka FM.

George also revealed he will personally go to Zambia to help the team out.

“It is usually not out but I have been playing a key part and I will continue that in Zambia, I will be leaving for Zambia to prepare the grounds for Kotoko".

“I will do everything within my power to help Kotoko qualify to the next stage and that is exactly why I am leaving for Zambia.

“I was with the team throughout their matches in Kumasi, and I think this is the time they need the support of some of us”, he added.

Asante Kotoko left Ghana for Ethiopia today enroute to Zambia for their upcoming game on Sunday.
