Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly getting ready to put forward a bid for Lazio captain Lucas Biglia.
The Bianconeri have supposedly already made an offer in the region of â¬15 million, which was rejected by the Biancocelesti hierarchy.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Old Lady are now considering raising the bid, although Lazio’s existing valuation of â¬25m will only be partially accommodated to.
In order to sign the 30-year-old, Juventus could work out a deal with â¬10m in cash and the loans of two youngsters as partial compensation.
Sources suggest that the capital club would accept such a proposition only if Sassuolo starlet Domenico Berardi were one of the loanees.
The 23-year-old Berardi is rumoured to have been signed by Juventus for a fee in the region of â¬25m and could be moving to the Juventus Stadium in the summer transfer window.
However, his agent has denied that the transfer will take place this summer.
Biglia has been a regular with the Lazio shirt during the 2015-16 season, accumulating 26 Serie A appearances, and scoring four goals.
