Hellas Verona and former Italy striker Luca Toni confirmed that he will hang up his boots following Sunday’s match against Juventus.
The striker had a remarkable career, which included winning the World Cup with the Azzurri in 2006, as well as scoring 156 Serie A goals in 343 games with eight different clubs.
Last season, Toni became the oldest player to win the Serie A Golden Boot, finishing the season with 22 goals.
