Ghana captain John Mensah also believes the Black Stars have what it takes to win the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
The OlympiqueLyon defender however stressed it will take a collective effort to make the 30-year wait for an African title a reality bu the time the tournament ends on 12 February.
"We have a realistic chance of winning the Cup of Nations if we all can come together as a nation," the 29-year-old told GTV Sports Highlights.
"Though Egypt and Nigeria are out of the tournament, every qualified team has what it takes to lift the trophy and so we won't underrate any team".
